No rest for busy 311, new fall tour dates announced
Just days after finishing up a busy summer that saw them headlining arenas with Papa Roach and Unwritten Law, alt-rockers 311 have announced dates for their upcoming fall tour.
The band's fall stretch will kick off with an Oct. 19 show in San Diego, with a current schedule that runs into late November. Highlights of the band's itinerary include a three-night stand at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium, and a two-night run at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
Tickets for most shows are already available, while pre-sales for other shows are available by going to the band's website.
Before the start of their tour proper, 311 will play a free show in Dodger Stadium's cavernous parking lot in Los Angeles. The Oct. 15 show is part of Honda's Civic Live promotion taking place in six cities around the country. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis by registering at the Civic Live website.
311 released its eighth studio album, "Don't Tread on Me," in late July. The disc debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
