This year's Light of Day concerts--benefit shows for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation and the ALS Association's Greater Philadelphia Chapter--are set for Nov. 4 at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, and Nov. 5-6 at Sayreville, NJ's Starland Ballroom.

Confirmed acts include John Eddie, Jesse Malin, Joe Gruschecky, Jeffrey Gaines and Soozie Tyrell. More details are posted at the Light of Day website.

For the last five years in a row, Bruce Springsteen has made unbilled appearances at a Light of Day benefit show. Last year, Grushecky and Springsteen played "Idiot's Delight," a song that they co-wrote. Their set also included the Springsteen originals "Atlantic City," "Johnny 99," "This Hard Land" and "Murder, Inc.," as well as a second Grushecky/Springsteen-penned cut, titled "Code of Silence."
