Singer Kelly Clarkson [ tickets ], who recently scrapped a handful of concerts due to illness, has rolled out make-up dates for those shows, and has penciled in a number of new stops, as well.

The four rescheduled shows--in Las Vegas; Irvine, CA; Reno, NV; and Spokane, WA--are now set to take place in mid-December, and tickets for the original performances will be honored on the new dates. Clarkson has also lined up a number of new December stops in Texas and California. Details are included below.

A make-up date for Clarkson's aborted Sept. 5 show in Santa Barbara, CA, has not yet been announced.

Prior to her December mini-tour of the U.S., Clarkson will tackle a leg of Australian shows. More information on the Aussie outing, which takes place in November, is available at Clarkson's website.

Clarkson's plans also include a previously announced Oct. 16 show at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom, tickets for which are on sale now.

Clarkson recently wrapped up a summer tour behind her sophomore set, last November's "Breakaway," which features the hit title cut, as well as additional singles "Since U Been Gone" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes." Last month, the clip for "Since U Been Gone" scored Clarkson trophies for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

"Since U Been Gone," "Behind These Hazel Eyes" and the latest single from "Breakaway," titled "Because of You," are all in the Top 50 on Billboard's most recent Hot 100 Airplay chart.

On Tuesday (9/20), Clarkson scored three nominations for the 2005 American Music Awards. The singer is up for Favorite Female Artist in the Pop/Rock and Adult Contemporary genres, and "Breakaway" got a nod for Favorite Album in the Pop/Rock category. The awards ceremony takes place Nov. 22 in Los Angeles, and will air live on CBS. Clarkson won't be on hand due to her Australian tour.

In 2002, Clarkson rose to fame as the winner of Fox-TV's "American Idol" talent search. Later that year, she scored her first No. 1 hit with the song "A Moment Like This," which went on to be 2002's top-selling single.

"Thankful," Clarkson's debut album, surfaced in 2003.
