Kings of Leon reign over crowds during fall tour

Kings of Leon , who are catching their breath after wrapping up their summer tour, will head back out for more shows this fall.

The young Southern rockers have lined up a month-long outing that kicks off Sept. 19 and makes stops at clubs throughout the U.S.; a lone Canadian date is also planned. The itinerary is included below.

The upcoming shows are part of the group's ongoing roadtrip behind its sophomore album, "Aha Shake Heartbreak," which surfaced in February. The quartet again teamed with producer Ethan Johns--who produced the band's 2003 debut, "Youth and Young Manhood." (There was some dispute about this--another producer wanting some credit or something too complicated to investigate right now--so I'm gonna cut that last detail)

"Aha Shake Heartbreak" includes the cut "King of the Rodeo," the recently released music video for which is streaming at the band's website.

Kings of Leon's lineup features brothers Caleb Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Nathan Followill (drums) and Jared Followill (bass), and first cousin Matthew Followill (lead guitar). Their father, a struggling evangelist minister, raised the Followill brothers on the road.

The Followill's raw sound and unusual back-story quickly made them critical darlings in the U.S., and they've proven especially popular in Great Britain, where their debut album is certified platinum.
