Disturbed tapped to head up Jagermeister Music Tour
Rockers Disturbed --who are currently working the road in advance of their new album's late-September release--will top the roster of this fall's Jagermeister Music Tour.
Scheduled to launch in November, the run will touch down at "intimate venues," according to a press release. The itinerary, as well as other hard-rock acts who will join Disturbed on the bill, will be announced soon.
In addition to musical performances, each concert will feature Jagermeister prizes and giveaways, to include compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jagermeister bands, as well as additional prizes and giveaways from tour sponsors Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics and Coffin Case.
On Sept. 20, Disturbed issues "Ten Thousand Fists," featuring the cuts "Stricken" and "Guarded." The album follows 2002's "Believe," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
The group is ushering in the new set with a pre-release tour that kicked off earlier this month and is scheduled to run into mid-September. Details are included below.
New Jersey-based Ill Nino holds down the opening slot. The Latin nu-metal outfit is scheduled to release its third album, "One Nation Underground," Sept. 27, according to a spokesperson.
Disturbed will follow its current North American trek with a European outing in October. More information is available at the group's website.
