'Fashion Rocks' taps Tim McGraw, David Bowie, Destiny's Child, more
"Fashion Rocks," the second annual concert presented by Conde Nast media to kick off New York's Fall Fashion Week, will feature performances by Tim McGraw , David Bowie , Destiny's Child , Alicia Keys , Gwen Stefani and many others.
The event takes place Sept. 8 at Radio City Music Hall, and CBS-TV will air a two-hour, prime-time "Fashion Rocks" special Sept. 9.
Also slated to perform at the concert are Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Nelly, Shakira, Joss Stone, The Arcade Fire and Rob Thomas, according to a press release.
New York Fall Fashion Week is a trade event at which buyers, media and the public preview fashion designs for the coming seasons.
