Dave Matthews, Trey Anastasio, others sign on for Vegoose fest
Phil Lesh & Friends (with special guest Ryan Adams), The Flaming Lips, The String Cheese Incident, The Shins, moe., Spoon, Gov't Mule, Digable Planets, North Mississippi Allstars, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Decemberists, Atmosphere, Blackalicious, The Magic Numbers and Lyrics Born are also confirmed, and more artists will be announced in the coming weeks, according to organizers.
The two-day event is set for Oct. 29-30 at Sam Boyd Stadium, with performances slated to begin at noon and end around 10:30 p.m., according to a press release. Two-day passes will hit the box office on Aug. 13; more information is posted at the event's website.
When the stadium performances end each night, the festival will continue at various separately ticketed late-night shows in Las Vegas clubs including House of Blues, The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and The Orleans arena, according to a press release. The late-night shows will also take place on Friday, Oct. 28, and Monday, Oct. 31. Performers and ticketing info will be announced "soon."
Vegoose is produced by Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, creators of the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
