Ten-piece world-beat group Ozomatli [ tickets ] is set to tour in advance of its upcoming "Live at the Fillmore" CD/DVD combo, beginning Saturday (7/30) at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre.

The outing will find them sharing a bill with Los Lonely Boys for several dates in August, and take them into early December, with three consecutive shows in San Francisco beginning Dec. 1.

Set for an August 23 release, the 10-track "Live at the Fillmore" documents the group's 2004 set at San Francisco's venerable concert hall. The budget-priced issue will feature an audio CD of the performance as well as a companion DVD featuring concert footage from the show and exclusive material not included on the CD, according to a press release.

Ozomatli's most recent studio release, 2004's "Street Signs," was awarded the Grammy for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album at that year's awards ceremony.

The politically active band recently took a break from touring to contribute an original song to the soundtrack of the upcoming Mexican-produced film "Innocent Voices," which deals with the life of a young boy during the 1980's civil war in El Salvador.
