Howie Day sets summer tour plans, DualDisc hits stores
Howie Day is poised to spend the summer on the road as he continues to back his sophomore set, "Stop All the World Now," which just resurfaced in DualDisc format.
Day's itinerary begins in mid-June, and so far stretches through the end of July. During that time, he'll play a mix of headlining shows, festivals, co-headlining engagements with Gavin DeGraw and opening dates for the Dave Matthews Band. Details are shown below.
On Tuesday (5/31), Epic Records reissued "Stop All the World Now" in DualDisc format; the new version includes the original album, as well as DVD content such as studio footage, live performances and three music videos, including the clip for the album's hit single "Collide."
Originally released in 2003, "Stop All the World Now" was first reissued last November as a limited-edition CD that included four bonus tracks.
Fans who purchased one of the album's non-DualDisc versions can use the CD to access some of the DualDisc's video content via Day's website, according to information posted at the site.
"Stop All the World Now" was recently certified gold, signifying U.S. shipment of 500,000 copies. Helping spur sales is Top 10 hit "Collide," which has been used in several television shows, including "Scrubs," "Summerland" and "Third Watch," and will soon appear on "One Life to Live," according to a press release.
