Madonna has returned to the studio to work on a follow-up to her 2003 album, "American Life."

She is "collaborating with new producers that she has never worked with before," according to her official website, which doesn't offer any other details.

No release date has been announced for the set.

Garth Brooks proposed to Trisha Yearwood before a crowd of 7,000 fans Wednesday (5/25) night in Bakersfield, CA, and Yearwood quickly accepted.

Brooks reportedly got down on one knee during the "Legends in Bronze" event at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace, which celebrated the unveiling of 10 bronze statues of country stars, including Brooks.

ABC-TV will air a Kenny Chesney television special on Nov. 23, marking the country star's first network special. The one-hour program, dubbed "Kenny Chesney: Somewhere in the Sun," will feature concert footage, as well as a look at his private life.
