The Eagles [ tickets ] have added more stops to a late-summer/early fall roadtrip that focuses on California, and now includes new dates in Nevada and Arizona.

Recent additions to the schedule include an Aug. 11 kick-off in Lake Tahoe, NV; a Sept. 10 stop in Bakersfield, CA; and a stretch of October dates that includes appearances in Anaheim and Los Angeles--marking the tour's fourth show in each city--as well as dates in San Jose, Oakland and the Phoenix area.

Tickets for most shows are on sale now, while those for the Bakersfield date hit the box office on Saturday (5/21) and those for the Phoenix-area stop are set for release on Monday (5/23), according to the Eagles' website.

In addition to regular ticket sales, the Eagles are offering VIP packages via ILoveAllAccess.com, a premium-ticket service that was rolled out last year. More information is posted at ILoveAllAccess.com.

In March, the Eagles offered up "Eagles Box," a limited-edition box set that includes all seven albums that the group released between 1972 and 1980. Also included is a bonus CD-single featuring the tracks "Please Come Home for Christmas" and "Funky New Year."

During an April 8 appearance on "The Howard Stern Show," Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh confirmed that he and his bandmates--Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Timothy B. Schmit--have been working for some time on a new album, but no release date has been set.

The Eagles' "Greatest Hits 1971-1975," which has sold over 28 million copies, is the top-selling album of all time in the U.S. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Before returning to the road with the Eagles, Henley will tackle a June co-headlining tour with Stevie Nicks.
