Briefly: Cher, Vibe MusicFest, Dave Matthews Band, Danzig
Cher 's three-year farewell tour finally came to an end with a sold-out Saturday (4/30) performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The tour, which launched in June of 2002 and was initially scheduled to visit fewer than 50 North American cities, eventually grew to 326 dates.
Kanye West , OutKast's Big Boi , John Legend, Ludacris, Faith Evans, T.I. and Keyshia Cole are scheduled to appear at Vibe MusicFest, set for June 10-12 at Atlanta's Georgia Dome.
More information is available at the event's website.
The Dave Matthews Band reportedly has agreed to pay $200,000 to an environmental fund to settle a lawsuit filed after one of the band's tour buses, while crossing a bridge over the Chicago River, emptied human waste onto an occupied tour boat.
A new Danzig DVD collection titled "Il Demonio Nera" ("The Black Demon") is set to hit stores June 14. It features a mix of videos, video outtakes, alternative takes and previously unreleased material from the group's "Danzig 4" (2000) and "Danzig 5" (2002) albums.
