John Legend sets up headlining tour

John Legend , who just finished up a lengthy stint opening for fellow R&B singer Alicia Keys, will set out on his own this summer.
Legend's headlining run kicks off in mid-June, and dates are set well into August. Details are shown below.
Tickets for several shows are on sale now, and Legend's website has been rolling out tickets via online pre-sales prior to the general on-sale dates.
Legend's U.S. outing follows May and June shows in Japan and Europe, details of which are posted at his website.
On Sunday (4/24), Legend played his final night on Keys' headlining tour, for which he'd held down the opening slot since February. He first collaborated with Keys by contributing vocals to "You Don't Know My Name," the lead single from her multi-platinum sophomore set, "The Diary of Alicia Keys."
Last December, Legend issue his inaugural album, "Get Lifted," which debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200 album chart and rose to No. 4 during its second week out. Produced by platinum rapper Kanye West, the set features the cuts "Used to Love U" and "Ordinary People."
