American Head Charge guitarist found dead

American Head Charge guitarist Bryan Ottoson was found dead aboard the band's tour bus Tuesday (4/19) in South Carolina, where the band was scheduled to appear on a bill with headlining act Mudvayne and others. Ottoson was 27.

Ottoson's body reportedly was discovered in his sleeping bunk on the bus. The cause of death wasn't immediately known, but an autopsy is pending.

The other members of American Head Charge, which formed a decade ago, reportedly are returning home to Minneapolis.

Mudvayne's scheduled Tuesday tour stop with AHC and others in Charleston, SC, was canceled due to Ottoson's death.

According to Mudvayne's label spokesperson, the tour was to continue as scheduled Wednesday night (4/20) at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
