Briefly: Dove Awards, Celine Dion, Better Than Ezra
Christian rockers Switchfoot won four trophies, including Artist of the Year, at Wednesday's (4/13) Gospel Music Association awards, known as the Dove Awards.
Gospel group The Crabb Family also won four Doves, while pop group Casting Crowns took three awards.
A complete list of winners is available at the Dove Awards' website.
The Wednesday and Thursday (4/13-14) performances of Celine Dion 's "A New Day ... " at Ceasers Palace in Las Vegas were canceled "due to a combination of Ms. Dion's allergies and a nose and throat infection," according to a press release.
The release date for Better Than Ezra 's new album, "Before the Robots," is set for May 31.
