Tim McGraw's spring/summer itinerary taking shape
Country artist Tim McGraw 's upcoming spring/summer tour plans include a mix of festival and headlining dates that will focus on Canada and the Northern U.S.
So far, McGraw has unveiled plans to play nearly two dozen shows between May and September, and additional dates continue to emerge. Details are in the itinerary below. Ticket pre-sales are being offered for many dates; more information is available at McGraw's website.
McGraw continues to support his ninth album, last August's "Live Like You Were Dying." The set follows 2002's multi-platinum "Tim McGraw and The Dancehall Doctors."
"Live Like You Were Dying" earned McGraw a field-leading six 2005 Academy of Country Music Awards nominations. He could walk away with a total of eight ACMs on May 17, since he also produced the album and its title track, both of which are vying for awards.
McGraw made his major motion-picture acting debut with Billy Bob Thornton in the recent film "Friday Night Lights," which is now available on DVD.
