Oasis announces fall U.S. tour with Jet and Kasabian
Oasis , which earlier this year revealed a handful of summer U.S. shows, has announced plans for a fall tour of the country that will feature support from Jet and Kasabian .
The group had not released a full itinerary at press time, but had confirmed a Sept. 25 stop in Houston, tickets for which are slated to hit the box office March 26. That date joins a previously announced Sept. 12 stop at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl, tickets for which are already on sale.
Meanwhile, fans in a half-dozen cities--including Detroit, Chicago, New York City and Philadelphia--will be the first to see the group perform live in the U.S. this year during a spate of previously announced June shows that follow the May 31 release of "Don't Believe the Truth," the group's first new studio album since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry."
Sandwiched between the two U.S. jaunts is a series of European dates. Details are available at Oasis' website.
Jet is currently working on the follow-up to its 2003 debut, "Get Born," which spawned the rock-radio hits "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and "Cold Hard Bitch."
Kasabian's self-titled debut landed in stores this month, and features the songs "Club Foot" and "Cutt Off."
