Briefly: Ray Charles, Fischerspooner, Jethro Tull, The Jayhawks

Riding the wave of its eight Grammy wins earlier this month, the Ray Charles duets album "Genius Loves Company" shoots to the top of the U.S. album chart, up from No. 15 the previous week.

Also benefiting from a good Grammy night was Green Day's "American Idiot," which saw a 50 percent increase in sales from the previous week and jumps from No. 3 to No. 2 on The Billboard 200. Rapper The Game's "The Documentary" falls one spot to No. 3.

The compilation album "Grammy Nominees 2005" rises from No. 14 to No. 4, and multiple Grammy-winner Usher's "Confessions" is up five slots to No. 5.

Alt-country act The Jayhawks are probably gone for good, frontman Gary Louris told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

"I don't think we're going to do anything else," he reportedly said. "We felt like we've done that enough. Everybody just wants to do something else. We haven't completely closed the door, but ... I'd say it's dead."

Louris and his former Jayhawks bandmate Mark Olson, who left the band in 1995, have reunited for a three-week tour.
