3 Doors Down map new round of U.S. shows

3 Doors Down wrap up their current leg of tour dates this weekend, but the group will return to U.S. stages this spring.

The Mississippi-based rockers have unveiled a new stretch of shows that kicks off in Florida in late April. The itinerary so far stretches into mid-May, and focuses on the South. Details are shown below.

The new U.S. dates will follow swings through Europe and Australia, according to a Universal Records.

As previously reported, the group's lineup during the tour will feature Puddle of Mudd drummer Greg Upchurch, who takes over for Daniel Adair. Adair, who joined 3DD during a tour behind the band's sophomore release, "Away from the Sun," and played on "Seventeen Days"--recently defected to Canadian rock outfit Nickelback.

Despite his new role with 3DD, Upchurch is still on board with Puddle of Mudd, according to an announcement posted at Puddle of Mudd's website.

"Greg is still a member of Puddle of Mudd and is taking some time out to help friends while the Puddle guys write songs for their next album," reads the message.

3DD's ongoing trek backs the band's latest album, "Seventeen Days," which landed in stores Feb. 7. The set moved about 231,000 copies during its first week in stores, earning it a No. 1 debut on The Billboard 200 album chart.

Helping spur sales of "Seventeen Days" is the cut "Let Me Go," which is streaming at the band's website.

"Seventeen Days" follows 2002's "Away from the Sun," which spawned the hit title track, as well as "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You."
