Indigo Girls return to the road in March
Indigo Girls get back on the tour trail in March as they continue to support their latest album, "All That We Let In."
The duo--Amy Ray and Emily Saliers--has lined up just over a dozen dates that are scattered throughout the U.S. The new string of shows marks the Girls' first batch of 2005 concerts. The itinerary is shown below.
Released one year ago, "All That We Let In" features Ray and Saliers backed by their longtime band: bassist Clare Kenny, keyboardist Carol Isaacs and drummer Brady Blade. Also featured on the set is singer/pianist Joan Osborne, who contributes back-up vocals to three tracks.
"All That We Let In" marks a first for Ray, who, after limiting her guitar playing to rhythm parts on previous works, tracked some lead solos on the set. Saliers, meanwhile--who has played dobro, banjo, bouzouki, classical guitar, piano, hurdy gurdy and guitar on prior albums--makes her mandolin and high-string guitar debuts on the album.
