Soulfly and Morbid Angel link up for co-headlining tour
Fans will get a double dose of heavy metal when Soulfly and Morbid Angel head out on a co-headlining trek this winter.
The two groups are set to hit the road in early February, and will wrap things up with a late-February, two-night stand in New York City. The itinerary is shown below.
Soulfly, led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, continues to support its latest studio set, "Prophecy," which hit stores earlier this year. In the midst of the upcoming tour, the group will issue a live DVD titled "The Song Remains Insane," which is scheduled for release on Feb. 15, according to Roadrunner Records.
Morbid Angel's most recent release is last year's "Heretic," which is the group's final album for Earache Records. According to a message posted at the band's website, the group is "exploring all interested labels as well as other options" and may shoot for a new release in 2005.
