Gregg Allman and Friends line up more shows
Gregg Allman 's winter tour, which gets underway early next year, has more than doubled in size.
Rounding out an itinerary that kicks off in late January is a new batch of February shows. The month-long trek focuses primarily on the East Coast and the South. Details are shown below.
Allman--who spent much of 2004 on the road with his primary group, The Allman Brothers Band --has recruited Floyd Miles (percussion), Neil Larson (keys), Robben Ford (guitar), Willie Weeks (bass) and Steve Potts (drums) to back him up on the upcoming solo trek.
The Allman Brothers Band celebrated its 35th anniversary this year, and marked the occasion with the release of "Stand Back: Anthology," a two-disc retrospective of the group's career. In October, the group mounted a co-headlining run with fellow Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd.
