Briefly: U2, John Mayer, ODB, Steve Earle

U2 performed "Vertigo" and three other songs from their forthcoming album, "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," during a brief Wednesday (11/17) gig for 30 radio contest winners in Dublin.

The Radio 1 contest winners joined the band--which concluded its set with "Beautiful Day"--at its rehearsal space, which will soon be demolished.

"How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" is due in stores on Tuesday (11/23).
