Eminem's 'Encore' to take an early bow

Claiming "rabid" demand, Internet piracy and bootlegging, Eminem 's label has moved the release date for the rapper's new album, "Encore," up four days to Nov. 12.

According to the label, the regular version of the album and a collector's edition, which features special packaging and a free ringtone, will be available on the new date.

"This is something we have been anticipating," label sales-and-marketing head Steve Berman said in a statement. "Once we had all of our pieces together we started a discussion as to whether 'Encore' should come early. We knew there would be a tremendous demand for this album. On our end, we were ready ... we just had to press the button on the date."

"Encore" is Eminem's fourth album. According to Aftermath/Interscope, the artist's previous albums have sold more than 50 million copies worldwide to date.
