Bette Midler solidifies Kiss My Brass itinerary

Bette Midler , who is currently in the midst of the second leg of her popular Kiss My Brass tour, has filled in a few blanks on her fall schedule.

Among the stops added to Midler's itinerary since the tour was first announced are Raleigh, NC; Grand Forks, ND; and Minneapolis. All confirmed shows are in the itinerary below.

The production--which a press release described as Midler's "biggest and most theatrical show to date"--features classic Midler fare such as "The Rose," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Wind Beneath My Wings," as well as cuts from her most recent album, "Bette Midler Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook."

Released last September, Midler's tribute to Clooney was co-produced by singer/songwriter Barry Manilow, who was Midler's original piano player and musical director. Manilow also produced her first two albums: "The Divine Miss M" (1972) and "Bette Midler" (1973).

Streaming samples of all 11 tracks on "Bette Midler Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook" are posted at Midler's website.

Midler's first Kiss My Brass tour took place in late 2003/early 2004. The 2003 leg averaged gross ticket sales of nearly $1 million per night at the box office, according to Midler's publicist.

Midler has sold more than 14 million albums over the course of her career, and has won four Grammy awards.
