More dates surface for Jay-Z and R. Kelly
Jay-Z and R. Kelly continue to roll out more dates for their in-progress tour, which in part supports the duo's soon-to-be-released second album.
The pair's schedule now includes November stops in Indianapolis, Louisville, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento and Las Vegas. The full itinerary is shown below.
Earlier this month, Jay-Z and R. Kelly launched their first co-headlining run, dubbed The Best of Both Worlds Tour. The two had originally planned to mount a joint outing following the release of their 2002 collaboration, "Best of Both Worlds," but scrapped those plans after Kelly became ensnared in legal problems stemming from a number of child-pornography charges.
The long-delayed tour sets the stage for the Oct. 26 release of the pair's second collaborative album, "Best of Both Worlds: Unfinished Business," an 11-track set that features the singles "Big Chips" and "Don't Let Me Die."
In addition to backing "Best of Both Worlds: Unfinished Business," Jay-Z and Kelly continue to support their own solo efforts. Jay-Z's latest, "The Black Album," surfaced last year; the multi-platinum rapper has said it will be his last solo set. Meanwhile, Kelly's two-disc "Happy People/U-Saved Me" hit stores in August.
