U2 [ tickets ] has released "Vertigo," the first single from its forthcoming album, exclusively via Apple's iTunes Music Store.

On Nov. 23, U2 issues "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," it's first collection of all-new material since 2000's multi-platinum "All That You Can't Leave Behind." The full track listing for the new set is posted at the band's recently revamped website.

A grand jury has indicted famed producer Phil Spector [ tickets ] on murder charges stemming from the shooting death of B-movie actress Lana Clarkson, according to published reports. The indictment means that prosecutors can proceed with a criminal case against Spector without holding a preliminary hearing, at which prosecutors would have been required to present enough evidence to warrant a trial.

Spector remains free on $1 million bail.

Rapper Chingy [ tickets ] will issue his sophomore album, "Powerballin'," on Nov. 16. The set features guest appearances from Janet Jackson, Lil' Wayne, David Banner, Nate Dogg, R. Kelly, G.I.B. , Bun B and Ziggy.

Tim McGraw [ tickets ] has joined the list of artists scheduled to perform at this year's annual CMA Awards ceremony. McGraw will open the show with "How Bad Do You Want It" from his new album, "Live Like You Were Dying."

"The 38th Annual CMA Awards" is scheduled to air live on CBS on Nov. 9.
