Bad Religion gives fans more chances to worship
Bad Religion 's upcoming tour behind its recently released album, "The Empire Strikes First," has been extended deep into the fall.
The run, which kicks off in mid-October, now stretches well into November, and includes stops in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco and more. Details are shown below.
Released in June, "The Empire Strikes First"--Bad Religion's 13th studio set-- was co-written and co-produced by singer Greg Graffin and guitarist Brett Gurewitz. On the set, the always politically outspoken group questions the Bush administration's doctrine of preemptive war, as well as the role of religion in American politics.
A free MP3 of the track "Sinister Rouge and Let Them Eat War" is available at the album's website.
"The Empire Strikes First" is the follow-up to 2002's "The Process of Belief," which marked Bad Religion's return to its original label, Epitaph, and the return of Gurewitz, who left the group to run Epitaph when Bad Religion signed to a major label in the early '90s.
