Ongoing bad weather in Florida--a state that has been whipped by two back-to-back hurricanes in recent weeks--has caused Van Halen [ tickets ] to juggle some of its tour dates.

The group, which was due to perform in the Ft. Lauderdale area on Wednesday (9/8) and in Jacksonville on Saturday (9/11), has pushed back those shows until Sept. 11 and 16, respectively. Tickets for the original performances will be honored on the new dates, and a limited number of $35 tickets are now available for the rescheduled shows, according to the band's website.

In the ensuing schedule shuffle, the band has scrapped its Sept. 15 shown in Greenville, SC, according to organizers.

As reported earlier this week, the group's schedule now includes a number of stops in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. Tickets for those dates are set to hit the box office on Saturday (9/11). Details are shown below.

In June, Van Halen launched its first tour with singer Sammy Hagar at the mic since he and the other band members--guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen and bassist Michael Anthony--split on bad terms in 1996.

Late last year, Hagar--who had renewed his friendship with Anthony several years ago--patched things up with the Van Halen brothers. The reconciliation spawned the current reunion tour, as well as three new songs, all of which are included on "The Best of Both Worlds." The two-disc compilation also houses previously released cuts from the band's studio albums with Hagar and original singer David Lee Roth.

Two of the new tracks--"It's About Time" and "Up for Breakfast"--are streaming in their entirety via the album's online media player. The player also includes full-length versions of several of the collection's previously released material, and a clip of the third new cut with Hagar, "Learning to See."

On Sept. 14, Rhino Records issues the DVD version of Van Halen's 1986 concert film, "Live Without a Net." Previously, the set was available only in VHS format. More information is posted at the label's website.
