Sting, Annie Lennox launch new round of North American shows
After taking the month of August off, Sting and Annie Lennox have resumed their North American co-headlining tour.
The latest leg kicked off in Atlanta on Thursday (9/2) and is scheduled to wrap up at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Oct. 19. Details appear below.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
Sting is backing his 10th album, "Sacred Love," which surfaced a year ago. The collection follows 1999's "Brand New Day," and features guest appearances from Vincente Amigo, Anoushaka Shankar and Mary J. Blige.
Lennox, who rose to fame as half of '80s pop duo Eurythmics, won Oscar and Golden Globe awards this year for "Into the West," a song from the film "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King." Her latest album is last year's "Bare," which is her first collection self-penned solo material in more than a decade.
