Ministry looks to do more evil during upcoming tour
Ministry , whose latest album hit stores earlier this summer, has filled more blanks in the itinerary for its forthcoming Evil Doer North American Tour.
The tour's Sept. 7 launch date remains intact, but the outing now features many new October dates that run up to a Halloween show at the House of Blues in the Orlando, FL, area. Details are shown below.
The itinerary is still under construction, and is expected to run until at least Nov. 22, "with a possibility of an extended tour until Christmas," according to Ministry's website.
My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult will appear on all dates, and Hanzel und Gretyl will sign on from Sept. 21 through Oct. 31.
Ministry's latest album, "Houses of the Molé," surfaced in late June, and features the anti-George W. Bush screed "No W." The song first turned up on April's "Rock Against Bush" compilation album from PunkVoter.com, which included cuts from a number of different artists.
According to a recent article at AlterNet.org, Jourgensen is taking a hands-on approach in his effort to get fans to vote Bush out of office this November.
"It is kind of devious," he said, "but between sound-check and show I will trade my autograph for their autograph on a voter registration card."
