Ministry heads up Evil Doer tour to support new album
Industrial rockers Ministry hit the road this fall during an outing dubbed the Evil Doer North American Tour.
The group, which has tapped My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult to open, launches the run in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, and dates so far are set into late October. Details are shown below. More dates will be added to the run, according to Ministry's management.
The outing supports Ministry's latest album, "Houses of the Molé," which hit stores in late June. The set features the anti-George W. Bush screed "No W," which first turned up on April's "Rock Against Bush" compilation album from PunkVoter.com, which included cuts from a number of different artists.
"There's a Republican in the White House," Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen said in a statement, "and I only write good records when that's happening. The rest of them suck. I can't wait for Jeb Bush to run so I can write my next platinum record!"
Ministry's "No W" music video premiered on MTV's "Headbanger's Ball" earlier this month, and is in regular rotation on Fuse TV and Canada's MuchLOUD music-video program, according to Ministry's website.
"Houses of the Molé" is the follow-up to Ministry's early-2003 release, "Animositisomina."
