Papa Roach pumps up pre-release tour schedule

Papa Roach has greatly expanded its summer tour, which precedes the release of the group's forthcoming album.

The run, which is still scheduled to kick off in Detroit on July 6, now stretches into early August, and comprises stops in about two-dozen cities. Details are shown below.

The group has tapped Instruction and Dead Poetic to hold down the opening slots, though Dead Poetic won't join the bill until the tour's July 12 stop in New York City.

During the run, Papa Roach will preview material from its follow-up to 2002's "Lovehatetragedy." The new set, titled "Getting Away with Murder," is due out sometime in September, but the group hasn't announced a specific release date.

Papa Roach'swebsite features streaming video footage of the band in the studio during the making of the album, including a clip of the group performing a new track titled "Blood."
