David Bowie has canceled the remaining dates on his European concert tour due to a shoulder injury.

"Due to the continuing pain and extreme discomfort from a trapped/pinched nerve in his shoulder and to prevent possible further injury, David Bowie has been advised by his doctors to cancel his performances at the eleven remaining European festival dates throughout July," said a statement on Bowie's official website.

Last week, Bowie aborted a concert in Prague due to shoulder pain, and four more cancellations followed.
