Lit fires up roadwork as new album hits shelves
Lit 's new album lands in stores on Tuesday (6/22), and the group wastes no time hitting the road to support the set.
The Orange County rockers are due to make a release-day appearance at the Tower Records store in Brea, CA, during which they'll perform and sign copies of the new, self-titled CD.
A short break follows before a round of tour dates get underway in early July. So far, the group has booked a mix of headlining dates, festival appearances, and a pair of mid-July shows with Hoobastank. Details are shown below.
On July 6, the group is scheduled to tape an appearance for an upcoming episode of "Last Call with Carson Daly." Fans have a chance to score free tickets to the "Last Call" appearance; details are posted at Lit's website.
On Monday night (6/21), the group will appear on the "Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn."
Lit's new album, which is the follow-up to 2001's Atomic, features the cut "Looks Like They Were Right." The first 100,000 copies of the new CD will include a free, limited-edition DVD that houses never-before-seen live footage and other exclusive footage of the band, according to a spokesperson.
