Fuel keeps burning through the summer
Fuel 's roadwork behind last year's "Natural Selection" continues this summer, and the band is bringing Tantric along for part of the ride.
So far, Fuel is scheduled to play a mix of headlining dates and festival shows through the end of July. Tantric is on board for the July shows, according to Fuel's website.
Released last September, "Natural Selection" features the cuts "Falls On Me" and "Million Miles." Fuel guitarist and chief songwriter Carl Bell co-produced the set with veteran rock producer Michael Beinhorn (Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Soundgarden).
"Natural Selection" is the follow-up to Fuel's multi-platinum sophomore effort, 2000's "Something Like Human," and 1998's "Sunburn."
"Coming into this record, our goals were to show how much this band has progressed and avoid repeating the past," Bell said in a statement. "We wanted to refine what we do best as a band and give ourselves room to branch out in different directions."
Tantric is backing its sophomore album, "After We Go," which surfaced earlier this year.
