The Cure [ tickets ], which last month announced the dates for a summer festival tour, has now locked in most of the venues for the run.

Dubbed Curiosa, the outing kicks off on July 24 at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL, and is due to wrap up on the West Coast at the end of August. Details are shown below.

At press time, ticket on-sale information was not available, and venues were still pending for the tour's stops in Seattle, San Francisco and Sacramento.

In addition to headliners The Cure, Curiosa also features main-stage acts Interpol [ tickets ], The Rapture [ tickets ] and Mogwai [ tickets ].

Muse [ tickets ], Cooper Temple Clause, Melissa Auf der Maur, Cursive, Head Automatica, Thursday and other guests are on the second-stage bill.

On June 29, The Cure issues a new, self-titled album, which is its 13th studio set and its first since 2000's "Bloodflowers."

Founding singer Robert Smith continues to front the group, which also features bassist Simon Gallup, guitarist Perry Bamonte, drummer Jason Cooper and keyboardist Roger O'Donnell; the lineup has been intact since 1994.
