Marc Anthony postpones upcoming tour

Marc Anthony , who was due to kick off a North American tour next month, has postponed the run until the fall.

"Due to the delay in production of my two albums, I have chosen to postpone my Nada Personal tour until November," Anthony said in statement. "Instead, I will allocate the summer months to the promotion of my new CDs. I look forward to seeing you all soon."

The outing was scheduled to kick off on June 11 in Puerto Rico, followed by U.S. and Canadian dates that were plotted through the end of July.

Fans who purchased tickets from Ticketmaster via phone or Internet will have their account automatically credited, while fans who purchased tickets at an outlet can obtain a refund at the point of purchase, according to Clear Channel Entertainment. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's corporate parent.)

Anthony was planning to hit the road this summer in support of a new, Spanish-language album titled "Amar Sin Mentiras" that was originally scheduled for release on June 1; a new salsa album was due to follow in July. At press time, it was not clear if the timetable for the two releases had been changed.

Anthony's most-recent English-language album is 2002's "Mended," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The set, which spawned the hit "I Need You," has sold more than 1.3 million copies worldwide, according to a press release.
