IMAX Concert Film "All Access" To Feature Santana, Sting
IMAX, the giant-screen film company, has started production on a rock concert film called "All Access," which will combine performances by Carlos Santana , Sting and Phish's Trey Anastasio with footage of rehearsals, soundchecks and backstage conversations.
The 60- to 70-minute film will also include performances by Macy Gray , Kid Rock , Mary J. Blige, B.B. King, George Clinton, Sheryl Crow and Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas. Initial footage for the film, which is slated for a Feb. 2001 release, was recently shot at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles.
