The Cure to head up this summer's multi-act Curiosa bill

Goth-rock veterans The Cure are assembling a summer festival tour dubbed Curiosa, which will also feature main-stage acts Interpol , The Rapture and Mogwai .

Muse , Cooper Temple Clause, Melissa Auf der Maur, Cursive, Head Automatica, Thursday and other guests are on the event's second-stage bill.

According to The Cure's official website, the outing launches in late July, and an official tour announcement will be issued soon.

Curiosa's initial list of dates and cities is below, and more shows will be added, according to the website. Ticket on-sale information wasn't immediately available.

The Cure is scheduled to issue a new, self-titled album on June 29, its 13th studio set and its first since 2000's "Bloodflowers."

Founding singer Robert Smith continues to front the group, which also features bassist Simon Gallup, guitarist Perry Bamonte, drummer Jason Cooper and keyboardist Roger O'Donnell; the lineup has been intact since 1994.
