Jessica Simpson [ tickets ] hits a number of radio-station festivals this month before turning her attention to a summer headlining run.

Simpson is scheduled to hit five festivals this month, including a May 22 event in the Boston area. That same day, the singer will also perform in New York City's Central Park as part of a skin-cancer benefit, tickets for which are on sale now via Ticketmaster. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.)

Simpson's subsequent headlining tour is currently set to launch on June 4 in New Orleans. Eight June dates have been scheduled so far, along with a pair of July stops. Tickets for most of the shows hit the box office on Friday (5/7) and Saturday (5/8). Details appear below.

The outing backs Simpson's 2003 album, "In This Skin." In March, Columbia Records issued an expanded version of the set, which features all of the original album's tracks, plus Simpson's covers of Berlin's "Take My Breath Way" and Robbie Williams' "Angels," as well as an acoustic version of her single "Without You."

Bundled with the new version of the album is a DVD that features scenes from the first season of Simpson's MTV reality-series "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," as well as footage from the couple's wedding.
