Mike Love leads The Beach Boys on latest U.S. tour

The Beach Boys , sporting a lineup that features only one original member of the legendary group, heads out for more tour dates this spring and summer.

Led by founding member Mike Love and longtime member Bruce Johnston, the group returns to the road later this month. Dates are confirmed through October, though the bulk of the band's schedule is concentrated in June, July and August.

Last summer, the Beach Boys issued a best-of set titled "Sounds of Summer," which houses 30 of the group's Top 40 hits, including "Surfin' Safari," "Little Deuce Coupe," "Help Me Rhonda," "Barbara Ann," "Good Vibrations" and "Kokomo."

Also last year, Capitol Records issued a DVD-audio version of 1966's "Pet Sounds," widely considered The Beach Boys' best album. In addition to the album's original 13 tracks, the DVD-A version also features seven bonus cuts, track-by-track notes, photo galleries and more.

Love co-founded The Beach Boys in the early '60s, along with brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, as well as Al Jardine.

Johnston signed on as a touring member in late 1964, after Brian Wilson announced that he was retiring from live performances.
