Grand Jury Indicts Bad Boy Rapper Shyne

update: A New York grand jury has indicted Jamal "Shyne" Barrow on several charges that could put him behind bars for up to 25 years. The 19-year-old Bad Boy Entertainment rapper allegedly shot three people during a Dec. 27 incident at a Times Square-area nightclub.

According to prosecutors, Barrow will face three counts of attempted murder, as well as charges of first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, criminal use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a weapon. He has been jailed since the morning of the incident, and no bail has been set.

In related news, prosecutors on Wednesday (1/5) did not ask grand jurors to indict Sean ''Puffy'' Combs on felony weapons charges, but they were reportedly granted up to three more months to gather evidence against him in the case.

''After all these days, they don't have enough to indict him,'' Combs' attorney, Harvey Slovis, told the New York Daily News.

Combs was briefly jailed on a weapons charge last week after a loaded gun was found in a vehicle that carried him, his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and two others from the club after the shooting.
