Something Corporate reveals more co-headlining shows with Yellowcard

Something Corporate and Yellowcard have confirmed a new batch of dates for a co-headlining run that kicks off next week.

The outing, which launches in San Francisco on March 18, now boasts a packed itinerary that runs through the end of April. Tickets for many of the dates are on sale now.

The groups will take turns in the opening and closing slots; details are posted at Yellowcard's website.

Something Corporate is backing its sophomore release, last fall's "North." The set debuted at No. 22 on The Billboard 200 album chart, and has sold more than 250,000 copies, according to the band's website.

The album's second single, "Ruthless," is due to hit radio stations next Monday (3/15). "Space," the album's first single, helped spur sales after its video debuted on the Fox-TV series "The O.C."; the cut also turned up in a February episode of CBS' "JAG."

"North" is the follow-up to Something Corporate's 2002 debut, "Leaving Through the Window," which has sold more than 250,000 copies. The set features the tracks "If You C Jordan" and "I Woke Up In a Car."

The band announced on its website this week that fans who buy "North" from select retailers will receive a free, limited-edition live CD that the group recorded last November. Details are posted at the band's site.

Last July, Yellowcard issued its second album, "Ocean Avenue," which features the cut "Ocean Avenue." MTV recently added the song's music video to its Buzzworthy rotation. Fans can also check out the clip at Yellowcard's website.
