Briefly: Jimmy Buffett, Doheny Music Fest, Clay Aiken, Teena Marie

City officials in Boston reportedly have applied for entertainment licenses that would allow Jimmy Buffett to play Sept. 10 and 12 concerts at Fenway Park.

According to the Boston Globe, a hearing will be held on March 22 to decide whether or not the shows will take place at the historic ballpark.

James Brown , Los Lobos , The Robert Cray Band, Etta James, Keb' Mo', Lucinda Williams, Charlie Musselwhite, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Robert Randolph, Koko Taylor, John Mayall and others are scheduled to appear at the Doheny Heritage Music Festival on May 22 and 23.

The festival will take place at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA; more information is available at the event's website.

The North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh has debuted a new exhibit that features the shirt, pants and shoes that Clay Aiken wore during a March 2003 appearance on "American Idol."

R&B and pop singer Teena Marie has signed a deal with Cash Money Classics/Universal Records, and will release a new CD titled "La Dona" early this summer.

"La Dona" features collaborations with Gerald Levert, rapper MC Lyte and Rick James.

Teena Marie is known for her string of '80s hits, including "Behind the Groove," "I Need Your Loving," "Lovergirl" and "Ooh La La."
