Mary J. Blige [ tickets ], who hasn't toured in almost two years, returns to the road this spring for a run on the U.S. theater circuit.

Blige kicks off the jaunt in Miami on April 11, and wraps up with a two-night stand in the Los Angeles area on May 8 and 9. Back-to-back shows are also planned in Detroit, New York, Oakland, the Philadelphia area and Washington, DC.

Soul singer Musiq [ tickets ] will hold down the tour's opening slot.

The tour is Blige's first since her early-2002 support of 2001's "No More Drama."

"Love & Life," Blige's follow-up to "No More Drama," landed in stores last August. The new album includes the cut "Not Today," which features rapper Eve. The third "Love & Life" single to hit radio, the song is also featured on the "Barbershop II" soundtrack.

Blige's website houses a streaming version of the "Not Today" video, which also features rapper Eve and comedian Cedric the Entertainer, who has a role in "Barbershop II."
