The Dead , Dave Matthews & Friends, Trey Anastasio , Bob Dylan , Willie Nelson and String Cheese Incident are among the acts who will hit the stage when this year's Bonnaroo festival takes over 700 acres of farmland south of Nashville.

The three-day festival--expected to bring some 90,000 music fans to the camp-friendly fields of Manchester, TN the weekend of June 11-13--will also feature David Byne, Primus, Wilco, Burning Spear, Ani DiFranco, Gov't Mule, Los Lobos , Galactic, Damien Rice, Medeski Martin & Wood, Gomez and others.

A preliminary lineup of just over four dozen acts--along with additional event information--is posted at the festival's website, and is also shown below. As with the festival's previous manifestations, the lineup is peppered with jamband veterans, indie upstarts and a sampler of roots, blues and rock acts, most of which are not core to commercial radio playlists.

Bonnaroo's promoters are extending an incentive to early buyers by announcing a ticket price of $139.50 for a three-day ticket but stating that when the allotment of tickets at that price is gone, "ticket prices will increase without notice to $164.50." Tickets will go on sale through the event's website on Feb 21st.

Additionally, promoters are making VIP ticket packages available for $995 per pair, which include preferred parking and camping access and access to special shower and restroom facilities. The VIP package also includes special viewing decks near the stages and admission to exclusive parties throughout the event. In 2003, the festival reportedly sold through its 80,000 capacity in less than three weeks.

In each of its two previous year's, the festival has been chronicled on CD and DVD, both of which are made available at the event's website.
