Puddle of Mudd sets more headlining dates, hooks up with Kid Rock

Puddle of Mudd 's in-progress tour behind last year's "Life on Display" rolls into the spring, and now includes opening dates for Kid Rock .
The outing touches down in Texas on Saturday (2/14) for the first of three headlining dates set in the Lone Star state, after which the group begins alternating headlining stops with opening performances for Kid Rock.
Dates with Rock begin on Feb. 19 in Ft. Worth, TX, and are scattered through the end of March. Puddle of Mudd's headlining dates also stretch well into March, and feature show-openers Smile Empty Soul and Instruction.
Details on all of the upcoming shows appear below.
"Life on Display," Puddle of Mudd's sophomore set, surfaced in late November. The set features the group's hit single "Away From Me," which is streaming at the band's website.
The group recorded the album in Los Angeles, and co-produced the set with John Kurzweg and Michael "Elvis" Baskette, according to Flawless Records.
"Life on Display" follows Puddle of Mudd's multi-platinum debut, 2001's "Come Clean, which spawned the rock-radio singles "Blurry," "She Hates Me," "Control" and "Drift and Die."
