Melissa Etheridge's club outing continues to grow as new album surfaces
Melissa Etheridge , whose latest album just arrived in stores, has added more shows to a club tour that kicks off next week.
The jaunt, which primarily consists of multi-night stands in major cities throughout the U.S., now includes stops in Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Austin and Dallas, as well as a fourth New York City dates. Tickets for most of the shows are on sale now, and members of Etheridge's fan club have access to special members-only ticket packages for many of the dates. Details are available at Etheridge's website.
Backing Etheridge on stage during the upcoming outing--which launches next Tuesday (2/17)--will be drummer Kenny Aronoff, bassist Mark Browne and guitarist Phillip Sayce.
On Tuesday (2/10), Etheridge released "Lucky," the follow-up to 2002's "Skin." The new set features lead-off single "Breathe," which members of Etheridge's fan club can listen to at her website.
Fans who can't make it to the Feb. 17 tour kick-off can still see Etheridge that day when she appears on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn." She'll also turn up on the Feb. 18 episode of "Last Call with Carson Daly."
