Lonestar saddles up for more touring in 2004

Country outfit Lonestar , which mounted an acoustic tour in late 2003, plugs in for a full-on electric outing that kicks off next month.

The group continues to back "From There to Here: Greatest Hits," a best-of set that surfaced last June. The album features the hit single "My Front Porch Looking In," which is nominated for a GRAMMY® award in the Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal category.

"As always, we're honored to be recognized for our music," the group said in a statement. "We're especially thrilled for a song like 'My Front Porch Looking In' that truly recognizes what is important in life: Blue-eyed blondes with shoes on wrong, and carrot tops with their sippy cups of milk."

The GRAMMYs are set to take place on Feb. 8, and will air live on CBS.

"My Front Porch Looking In" is one of four new songs on Lonestar's 17-track "Greatest Hits" collection; among the other new tracks is the album's latest single, a cover of Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis."

Samples of 10 previously released tunes included on "From There to Here" are posted at Lonestar's website. The site also features the music video for the previously released cut "Amazed."
